The Chief Information Officer (CIO) serves as Solano County's senior technology executive, leading a 74-member Department of Information Technology responsible for delivering innovative, reliable, and secure technology services that support County operations and public service delivery.
This position leads a department with an annual budget of approximately $51 million and plays a critical role in advancing modernization initiatives, strengthening cybersecurity, guiding responsible adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, and ensuring technology investments align with County priorities and community needs.
